A professional REALTOR® since 1997, Paul began his real estate career after serving 24 years of active duty in the Marine Corps. As a new REALTOR®, his initial focus was on “just” being a “bird dog” but eventually realized that helping people realize their dream of home ownership was a way fulfilling way of life.
In 1999, he married Judy, who had just gotten into real estate, and together they opened up their own boutique real estate company in Albuquerque. They became “The Home Team”; as such, they have helped hundreds of people realize the dreams of building wealth and getting into their OWN home!!! What a blast!
Wanting to “get involved”, Paul had gotten involved in local, state and national real estate issues and politics. He has served almost continuously since 2004 on various local, state and national real estate boards and committees, culminating in serving as the New Mexico CRS State President in 2007, Albuquerque’s Association President in 2015 and President of the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® in 2019. Paul is also an RPAC Golden R Hall of Fame Member.
Paul is widely recognized for his in-depth knowledge of the real estate market and trends. He continues to leverage his life experience and market knowledge, helping colleagues and clients alike. His long-term commitment to the real estate industry resulted in his being honored as the Albuquerque Association REALTOR® of the Year in 2019 and the New Mexico State REALTOR® of the Year in 2021.
Paul is a certified “CORE COURSE” instructor for the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. Paul LOVES education and loves being in the real estate classroom, be it formal in-person classroom teaching or virtual learning or at the kitchen table with new buyers or sellers. Truthfully, it is all about teaching.
Education, you say? Paul has earned degrees from the United States Naval Academy, Pepperdine University and the University of Southern California.
Some of his earned certifications and designations include CRS, CIPS, CDPE, CSP, CNE, CIAS, PSA, AHWD, TRC, green, and SRES.
